Anambra State Government Is Set To Sack All Teachers Who Cannot Recite The Current Administration’s Vision Statement

Few Months after Kaduna state government sack some teachers for failing a basic examination, Anambra State commissioner for Education, Prof. Kate Omenugha has announced that the state government intends to sack teachers who failed to recite the state’s shared values.
Kate, who revealed the new policy in an on-going 5-day training for technical and vocational teachers in the state expressed her disappointment over the inability of some teachers to recite the values during the training exercise.
She said: “If you can’t recite the state values, you will be sacked. The earlier you key into the Obiano’s vision in education sector, the better for you.”
Kate also revealed the state government’s plans to commence award of contracts to qualified young entrepreneurs in the state as a way of encouraging them in their various vocations.
