Anambra Government Imposes Curfew On Six Communities

Anambra State government has imposed a curfew on six communities in the state, namely Igbariam, Aguleri, Umueri, Nteje, Awkuzu And Umunya,
This is coming after the crises that hit Igbariam community of the State. Some suspected gunmen had launched an attack on Fulani herders in the community situated in Oyi Local Government Area of the state.
Anambra Government Imposes Curfew On Six CommunitiesIn a statement he released, the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu said the curfew, which started on Monday, 26th April 2021, is expected to last between 7 pm and 6 am daily.

He then urged the people of Anambra and other residents of the state living in the listed communities to obey the curfew order, as security personnel are on strict orders to enforce the curfew.
