Popular Nollywood star, Ini Edo, has declared herself the best actress and best-dressed female celebrity at the recently concluded Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award (AMVCA).
Ini Edo took to her Instagram page to state this after failing to win any award at the award show which took place at Eko Hotel and Suites over the weekend.
Recall that Ini Edo was nominated alongside Bimbo Ademoye, Enado Odigie, Osas Ighodaro, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Ini Dima-Okojie, Immaculate Oko Kasum, Nimo Loveline, Queen Nwokoye, Scarlet Gomez, for the Best Actress in a Drama category.

However, Osas Ighodaro beat the other actresses to emerge winner of the category for her stellar acting performance in ‘Man of God’. This is her second win in a row.
Following the award ceremony, Ini Edo, who appears to be upset by Osas’ win, went online to say she believes she is the best actress in the award category.
The ‘Shanty Town’ actress also declared herself the best-dressed female celebrity, which reality TV star, Beauty Tukura, won on Saturday.
She shared photos of her beautiful outfit to the show and wrote,
“Best Actress/Best dressed💯
Argue with ur keypads ✌️”
In other news, the Africa Movie Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) held its ninth edition on Saturday at Eko Hotels in Lagos State.

The 2023 AMVCA event was hosted by IK Osakioduwa and former Miss Universe, Zozibini Tunzi.
Three previous Big Brother housemates made huge wins at the event. The prize for “Best Original Drama Series” went to Diane Russet, Elozonam was honoured for “Best Online Social Content Category,” and Tobi Bakre was named “Best Actor in Drama.”
The Best Dressed award for men went to influencer, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, while the honour for women went to Beauty Tukura, an ex-BBNaija contestant.
