Amir Khan has apologised to fellow Brit, Anthony Joshua, after accusing the heavyweight champion of sleeping with his estranged wife, Faryal Makhdoom.
In an explosive Twitter rant last week, Khan, 30, astonishingly claimed he was leaving his wife Faryal over her alleged affair with AJ. The Nigerian-born British heavyweight champion denied the allegation, writing on Twitter that he and Faryal hadn’t even met. But that didn’t stop Khan from insisting his marriage was over because of Joshua.
However, Makhdoom on Friday morning stated that pictures sent to her husband of her supposed conversation with Joshua were “fake.” Khan then took to Twitter to write to the reigning WBA, IBF and IBO king Joshua, saying: “Glad all is cleared up and all lies. I got angry like any man would. No truth to it. Good to know. All the best.”

And of course, class act Joshua, 27, wasted no time in accepting the apology from his fellow Brit.
