Americans, Guns Are Not Your Problem – Dencia

Whitenicious boss Dencia has reacted to the continuous gun violence in America and the many protests aimed at ensuring gun control.

The Cameroonian beauty, took to Twitter to share her thoughts on the issue saying Americans are placing attention on the wrong thing.

In her words:

‘Americans are focused on the wrong thing, guns aren’t ur problem. A hurt person will find a way to hurt the people or person who hurt them.Teach love,stop the bullies.They’ll use other things to hurt people,kids are mean AF, humans are inhuman & treat each other like shit’.

Recall just last week, a school in Florida was attacked leaving many students dead and a few fighting for their lives.

Former President Barack Obama, while reacting to the sad incident which occurred on Wednesday, February 14th,2018, called for “common-sense gun safety laws.”

Obama tweeted:“We are grieving with Parkland. But we are not powerless. Caring for our kids is our first job.”

“And until we can honestly say that we’re doing enough to keep them safe from harm, including long overdue, common-sense gun safety laws that most Americans want, then we have to change.”

Other celebrities who reacted to the shooting includes Ellen DeGeneres, Kim Kardashian amongst other.

“No words, no actions, no laws are enough until we end this epidemic of school shootings in our country,” tweeted DeGeneres. “My heart is with the students and parents of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.”

 

Kim tweeted:

”We owe it to our children and our teachers to keep them safe while at school. Prayers won’t do this: action will. Congress, please do your job and protect Americans from senseless gun violence.”

Actress Reese Witherspoon reacting to the fatal shooting tweeted:

”Heartbroken over the news of another school shooting. This is the 18th in 45 days of 2018. Students & teachers shouldn’t have to fear for their safety. We must do more to prevent these senseless acts of gun violence. My heart is w/ the people in Parkland, FL. Enough is enough.”
