Abramovich May Face Jail Term After Selling Chelsea

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has been told that he may never be able to return to Russia and also likely to face jail term after selling Chelsea.

Recall that the Chelsea owner confirmed via a statement that he will sell Chelsea and then set up a foundation that would ‘be for the benefit of all victims of the war in Ukraine’.
For Abramovich to describe Russia’s invasion as a ‘war’ might put him in danger in Russia.
Just recently, the Russian parliament introduced a law against the spreading of ‘fake news’, and it is forbidden to refer to the situation in Ukraine as a war or an invasion.
It has now been claimed that Abramovich could face jail time for merely calling Russia’s act as a war.
Meanwhile, Chelsea fans chanted Roman Abramovich’s name in the weekend’s clash against Burnley.
