Aiyedatiwa Agreed To Sign Undated Resignation Letter As Part Of Resolution – Ondo Speaker, Oladiji

Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Olamide Oladiji, has confirmed that part of the resolutions reached after the recent meeting with President Bola Tinubu over the political crisis that rocked the state a few weeks ago was the signing of an undated resignation letter by the deputy governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

It was gathered that the letter might be activated if Aiyedatiwa contravened any of the resolutions reached in the peace meeting with stakeholders from the state.

Disclosing this during the first plenary of the Assembly held after the Abuja meeting, the Speaker revealed that there was no resolution reached to the effect that Aiyedatiwa will be made acting governor, stressing that the status quo will remain.

According to Oladiji, the Secretary to the State Government, SSG), Oladunni Odu, the State Chairman of the party, Ade Adetimehin and himself had been mandated to ensure full enforcement of the resolutions.

“Dear colleagues, Please permit me to formally welcome you to this Hallowed Chamber following the recent harrowing and tortuous political crisis that shook the entire State to the marrow.
