Aishah Ahmad Appointed As New Deputy Governor Of Central Bank

According to a statement released by Mr. Femi Adeshina (Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity), President Buhari has presented Mrs. Aishah Ahmad to the senate as the new Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).She is to serve as an immediate replacement for the former deputy governor who retired earlier this year. Aishah is a member of the executive council under the Organization of Women in Management, Business and Public Service. She got her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Abuja in 1996 before proceeding to the University of Lagos for her Masters of Business Administration (MBA). She further proceeded to Cranfield University where she was awarded an Masters of Science (MSC) in 2007
