The All Progressive Congress Chieftain and former presidential aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Ahmed Gulak who was murdered in the early hours of Sunday morning by some unidentified gunmen en route back to Abuja from Imo State, was laid to rest yesterday evening in Abuja, May 30, 2021.
Ahmed Gulak’s death has sparked off a series of reactions, several coming from the upper echelon of power, with President Muhammadu Buhari vowing to ensure that those who assassinated the former Imo State Gubernatorial Committee Chairman are brought to justice.

Governor Akeredolu of Ondo State has described the killing of the APC chieftain as been senseless and wicked, with the intention to instigate Northerners against Igbos.
Ahmed Gulak was laid to rest at the Gudu Cemetery in Abuja on Sunday night, May 30, at about 8 pm. His funeral service was held at the National Mosque, Abuja.
