The president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Emeka Rollas has responded to Gideon Okeke after he accused the AGN of doing nothing on the poor treatment of actors in Nigeria.
The AGN president replied the actor and mentioned that any member who desires to collect royalties must belong to a guild. He shared that the Guild cannot fight for someone who is a non-member and mentioned that a lot of restructuring is going on in the AGN. Emeka Rollas shared that Instagram is not a platform that can solve the issue at hand.
Gideon Okeke further responded to Rollas and said they have always had the law on their side but have done very little with the law. He asked if film makers sign contract with actors or look out for their welfare. He further mentioned that he is willing to talk to any TV station that reaches out to him on the issue.
