BBNaija Housemate Venita Akpofure has shut people up on the issue of ascribing age with supposed achievements, noting that age is nothing but God given.
The actress said this in response to a tweet who asked if it was a wrong thing to be older.
“The way Nigerians carry age on their heads ehn. Once you’re 30 (or is it 35 these days), the subs, insults, the condescending jokes thrown towards you especially if you’re a woman. Is it a bad thing to grow older? Don’t you wish to grow older too? It really baffles me.”

Replying, Venita Akpofure tweeted, “My dear. Any idiot that insults any one in such a stupid manner is asking for destiny to snuff them out before 30. Age is God Given. Some people did not survive 2020. Gratuity“, she replied.
