AFRIMMA organizers announce a date for the 5th edition of the Awards and Music festival.
The 2018 edition of the African Muzik Magazine Awards and Music Festival (AFRIMMA) hold on Sunday, October 7 in Dallas, United States, according to a statement released by the organizers, which promises to deliver the “best experience ever with a full weekend of activities lined up”. While fans and music’s biggest names continue to anticipate the release of categories and nominations, the organizers are already making plans for activities leading to the ceremony.
The activities include a welcome party, fashion show, meet and greet sessions, red carpet, award ceremony, music festival, after party and many more. “African music is writing a beautiful story and we are dedicated to keeping the history. The 5th edition of the African Muzik Magazine Awards and Music Festival (AFRIMMA 2018) is set to be another one for the history books,” the statement explained.
“Our African music stars have continued their exploits spectacularly and it is a thing of joy to see African music crossing boundaries despite inherent challenges.” Winners from the 2017 edition include; Davido, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Falz, Diamond Platnumz, C4 Pedro, Cassper Nyovest, Fally Ipupa, Toofan and Sarkodie.
