Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi, has reacted to controversy trailing her latest feat, A certain Nigerian writer recently condemned the Vogue magazine cover in which she was featured – Adesua has responded to the backlash and stated that she remains grateful for the opportunity Many Nigerians were excited when actress Adesua Etomi revealed her latest feat in which she was featured in Vogue magazine’s latest issue. The pretty actress made Nigerians proud to be one of the actresses to be recognised globally, however, some people has reservations. Earlier shared the views of a Nigerian writer named Tosin Silverdam who stated that the actress looked like a slave on the cover as they darkened her skin more than usual. In response to what looked a criticism, Etomi shared a post in which she explained that her attitude to everything is gratitude. In her post, she asked that no one fights her battles and instead of bashing the achievement, she adopts an attitude of gratitude and watch God do more for her. She adviced that people choose their word carefully and watch they put on social media.
As much as I appreciate the love and support, I really wish people won’t abuse others on my behalf. It’s not what I’m about.
