Adele has cancelled her last two concerts in London after suffering damaged vocal cords and it is unclear if she would ever go on tour again. Writing on her Instagram, the Million Years Ago singer revealed that the decision was taken after seeing her doctor.
“On medical advice I simply am unable to perform over the weekend,” she wrote. “To say I’m heart broken would be a complete understatement.” This sad development comes after she performed at Wembley Stadium on two consecutive nights (June 28 and 29). Variety reports that about a 100,000 people were expected for the two shows, and that she inserted a note in the tour program handed out to fans, hinting that she may never go on tour again.
