As singer and songwriter, Adekunle Gold continues to undergo a transformation in his music, the AG baby singer has announced the date for his new album.
In a news letter released earlier today, the singer said the album is set for August 21. He however said his transformation from World music to Afro-pop had been in the works since 2017.
He said that however while his switch to Afro-Pop might have been ready, the personality of AG baby wasn’t ready in 2017. However, the transformation was now complete.

“Afro Pop might have been ready in 2017, AG Baby wasn’t. And now that AG Baby is ready, Afro Pop is now sounding like its original intention, and the original intention was for me to express myself without giving a F***. I finally am completely fearless and free.
“Thanks to patience, AFRO POP VOL. 1 is out on the 21st of August 2020. It is sexy, evolved, delicious and has a home with my new family at EMI.”
