ADC Endorses Peter Obi For President, Forms Star Alliance

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has endorsed the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and Vice presidential candidate, Datti Baba-Ahmed, for the presidency.

The endorsement came on the heels as a grand Coalition for Obi/Datti presidency.

The star alliance partners are: Nigeria Mothers for Good Governance, Fulani United, Nigeria Artisans, League of Imams, Nigeria Traders, Yoruba United, Mega Political Coalition, Kanuris United, Almalgamated Coalitions, CEG Groups and Nigeria Legions United.

Among those who attended the event include: ADC National Chairman, BoT Chairman, and a chieftain of the Labour Party (LP), Professor Pat Utomi.

The DG of the Atiku campaign organisation, Aminu Tambuwal in statement, described the candidacy of the Labour party candidate, Peter Obi as dead on arrival.

He expressed his sentiments at the PDP’s presidential campaign rally in Yola, Adamawa, commending the party members for their dedication and hard work throughout the campaign.

However, it was his comments regarding Peter Obi that garnered the most attention, as he declared Obi’s presidential aspirations as “dead on arrival,” implying that he was unsuitable for the role.

“When Peter Obi was governor of Anambra he didn’t conduct one local govt election. How could he attempt to be president when he couldn’t conduct local govt elections? He is not Democratic enough. As far as I am concerned Peter Obi’s candidature is dead on arrival.”
