Adamawa Polls: Hudu Yunusa Demeaned People Of Bauchi – Cleric

A Bauchi cleric, Dr Idris Abdulaziz, has described Hudu Yunusa-Ari, the suspended Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) during the supplementary elections in Adamawa State as a disgrace to the good people of Bauchi State.

Recall that the REC controversially declared Aishatu Dahiru Binani, the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) the winner of the election in the Adamawa State.

According to the cleric, “I am sad and frustrated for what an indigene of our state, Hudu Yunusa did.

“He demeaned the good people of Bauchi as well as his own local government, Ningi.

The cleric said this in a viral video on social media.

He explained that Hudu disgraced the people of the state and ignored his advice.

He added that when Hudu was nominated as REC-designate, he counselled him that he should fear Allah and be honest.

The cleric stated that when the election was declared inconclusive, he counselled him through a text message, which he appreciated.
