Following the death of comedienne Ada Jesus, some Nigerians have called for the arrest of popular Anambra clergy, Chukwuemeka Odumeje, popularly known as Indaboski and veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie.
Recall that the deceased had had a clash with the duo before her illness was announced, and both only came out a few days ago to say they have forgiven her after some refusals of pleas from the comedienne, her family and Nigerians.
Although Harrison Gwaminshu, who led the people that took the comedienne to the hospital for treatment said her death is not spiritual, Nigerians have one way or the other blamed Indaboski and Rita Edochie for the having a hand in her death. “Odumeje and Rita Edochie oya go and feast on Ada Jesus flesh. “If you ever refer to Odumeje as a man of God, may thunder strike you dead. How he took an egoistic responsibility of inflicting Ada Jesus with a disease, distracting the family from seeking early medical care You people can wail for all I care, when odumeje went around claiming responsibility for the sickness, how do you expect the family to reason medical care, dude saw that it was escalating, he offered 1M, Religion will wound us in Africa”, a tweep @Mo4tea wrote.
Another tweep @Capable05 also tweeted, “Police please go and arrest that fake Pastor Odumeje and that actress Rita Edochie for publicity admiring of being responsible for the ailment that finally killed Ada Jesus. They are both evil.” Another tweep @Nasirudeen said though he doesn’t believe Odumeje and Rita are responsible for Ada Jesus’ death, the duo should be punished legally for their comments while the comedienne pleaded for their forgiveness. “Don’t believe Odumeje and Rita responsible for death of #AdaJesus but they should be legally punish for their comments when the poor girl was seeking forgiveness, come to think of it, if it’s poor witch make such convection people’s would’ve stone them to death”, @Nasirudeen tweeted.

Another tweep @Chinemerem also said, “I think the family of Ada Jesus should take her corpse to Odumeje Church and leave her there for him” while @Newtonikire wrote, “I don’t care if Rita Edochie and Odumeje were responsible for the death of Ada Jesus or not. We should mind our words, for the power of life and death is in the tongue. The witch cried last night, the child died this morning”, is an African proverb.
