Kemi Afolabi has hit the big 40.

The beautiful Yoruba actress/producer turned 40 today and released stunning new images of herself to celebrate her day. Kemi, wowed in two different outfits for her shoot, donning a red ball gown for one and a cream and gold dress for the other.  Kemi who has produced quite a handful of movies spoke on the reason why Yoruba movies are way better than Englis movie during an interview with The Nation a while back. In her words; ”You cannot compare a Yoruba script with others. It is rich in culture; ‘ve been on the other side, I’ve done a couple of productions but I feel these people are not staying true to their culture.

I can say that the Yoruba movies have actually prompted the English speaking industry to start doing Igbo movies. The Hausas are also following up.”
