Nigerian Human Rights activist and lawyer, Esther Uzoma has breathed her last, surrendering to the cold hands of death.
The convener, Civil Society Society Situation Room was said to have given up the ghost at a hospital in Abuja on Wednesday.
The Situation Room confirmed her death in a statement released on Thursday, describing her as a very energetic and committed human rights activist that has been in the forefront of driving Nigeria democratic reforms.

According to reports, the National Coordinator of Proactive Gender Initiatives (PGI) had undergone a surgery which was followed by complications she couldn’t survive.
