Abule Ado Explosion: Sanwo-Olu Visits Victims, Begs Nigerians For Funds

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu visited the families of the victims of the Abule Ado explosion area alongside his Deputy Obafemi Hamzat today.
Taking to Twitter, Sanwo-Olu disclosed that they spent some time at the tragic scene and had set up a n immediate relief and support funds system for the victims of the incidence and their families.
Sanwo-Olu then appealed to Nigerians to contribute whatever they can to the victims as the incidence is beyond what the government can independently handle.
“I spent sometime today at the site of the tragic incident at Abule Ado. To give immediate relief and support to the victims of the disaster, I have set up a N2 billion Relief Fund to be chaired by @drobafemihamzat.

The state government has put in N250m into the fund immediately. This incident is certainly beyond what government can independently pull off and we will count on your support to contribute to this fund as we work to provide succour for the victims of this unfortunate incident.
