Ex-governors of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Adamu and Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, have arrived at the courtroom in Lafia, the state capital, to witness the ruling of the Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal.
The tribunal is expected to deliver its judgement on the petitions challenging the election of Governor Abdullahi Sule as the Governor of Nasarawa State.
It earlier stated that the judgment would be delivered via Zoom.

In other news, The National and State House of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Lafia has nullified the return of Ovey John of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the duly elected member representing Keffi East Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly (NSHA).
This decision is coming after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Ovey John the winner of the March 18 polls.

The three-member panel, headed by Justice Francisca Isong Nnang, while delivering the judgment on Sunday in Lafia, concluded that INEC erred in declaring the PDP candidate as the winner, overlooking Isah Adamu from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
