Ace Nigerian Human Rights lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN) has said there is too much injustice in Nigeria, a situation he said is not good as he made a comparison of how fast the Federal Government of Nigeria was in extraditing IPOB Leader Nnamdi Kanu and have him locked up to how it is now following due process in the case of DCP Abba Kyari.

In an interview with BBC Yoruba on Tuesday August 10, Falana alleged that the Federal Government also sent an aircraft for extradition of Sunday Igboho to Abuja but was stopped by Benin government which insisted on following the legal procedure.Abba Kyari Vs Nnamdi Kanu's Extradition: There's Too Much Injustice In Nigeria - Femi FalanaAccording to the Senior Lawyer, there are too many injustices in Nigeria and this is not good. “The Benin government made its Nigerian counterpart understand that the country is not lawless. They insisted on following the legal procedure and said without going to court, we can’t hand over Igboho to you. This is how it should be under the law; the judge will scrutinise Nigeria’s extradition request from Cotonou to Abuja. That is what the laws say in Benin Republic, that is what the laws also say in Nigeria”, he said.

“That was why I criticised the hasty transfer of (the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra), Nnamdi Kanu from Kenya to Nigeria. Now, the Federal Government wants Abba Kyari to go to court before he is transferred to the United States. And this is what the government should have done in the case of Kanu. There are too many injustices in Nigeria and this is not good”, he added.Abba Kyari Vs Nnamdi Kanu's Extradition: There's Too Much Injustice In Nigeria - Femi Falana TRENDING VIDEO OF THE DAY: Should Any Of The Proposed 20 New States Be Created/How Badly Are The Old Ones Doing?
