A Ghanaian clergy, Prophet Nigel Gaisie has said the sins of womanizing and drinking alcohol do not make a man of God fake, insinuating that these things are weaknesses and do not render the anointing of a clergy counterfeit.
Nigel Gaisie said this in a recent interview stating that it is wrong to criticize a man of God for drinking alcohol or womanizing, as David the man after God’s heart was a chronic womanizer and a drunk.
“When a man of God drinks alcohol, it doesn’t make him fake. When a man of God steals, it doesn’t make him fake. When a man of God womanizes or a woman of God has another boyfriend, it doesn’t make him/her fake”, he reportedly said.

Stating that every human has a weakness, Prophet Gasie added that what would make a man of God fake if he doesn’t preach Jesus. “Every mortal vessel has a weakness, what makes a man of God fake is when he changes his covenant. If that man of God does not preach Jesus anymore, that is what makes him fake”, he reportedly added.
