Carl Ikeme is still undergoing treatment for acute leukemia. Despite the life-threatening nature of his illness, Wolves are still optimistic that the former Super Eagles keeper will soon return to the last line of defense for them.
The Nigerian international was diagnosed with acute leukemia on the 6th of July 2017. The ailment ruled him out of participating in sport since last year. Hopefully the Nigerian shot stopper will eventually return to active duty in the position he is globally recognized for.
