Former Presidential aspirant Oby Ezekwesili has revealed why she rejected and refused the offer to be President Buhari’s Vice President back in 2011.
This is coming after Tunde Bakare revealed that President Buhari had called him, requesting that he gets him a running mate from the South because ‘Nigeria’s structure makes it difficult for one to win the presidential election without a handshake between the north and the south.’
Affirming this in tweets she put on via her official Twitter handle, the 57 year old Oby Ezekwesili noted that she has been getting a lot of funny messages since the clergy made the revelation, and doesn’t understand why people are tearing up at her choice.

According to her, she simply has decided her moral code and the standard to hold herself to in life, and at such, made her choice. She added that Pastor Bakare, had, out of a strong passion to see Nigeria become had again made the mistake of asking her to agree to serve in Buhari’s administration in 2015 and her rejection shocked him.
I laughed at the many messages people sent me upon reading @T_Bakare ‘s factual statement that I rejected running as VP with @MBuhari in 2011.
I did not waste a moment in saying No.
It is why I have always pitied those who spend their years lying against me.
Next please!✍🏾✍🏾

I have often laughed at the many ludicrous falsehoods that friends and trolls of the two administrations kept throwing at me.
What some of you should do better is actually boldly confront the Confirmation Bias that made you quickly accept the falsehoods as facts. It won’t kill.
