Senator Dino Melaye was arrested by the federal government on Monday morning on a Morocco-bound flight at the Nnamdi Azikiwe airport in Abuja.

The senator representing Kogi West at the National Assembly claims he was on his way to morocco for an “official engagement” when he was apprehended.

“I have just been arrested at the international wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe airport on my way to Morocco for an official engagement sponsored by the Federal Govt after checking in,” Dino Melaye tweeted.
Big Brother Naija is over and the “Lazy Nigerian Youths” now have enough time to follow and engage in political trends as the country prepare for the 2019 general election. See how Nigerians are reacting to Dino Melaye’s arrest below.

You’re a senator, kindly sponsor a bill against indiscriminate and unwarranted arrests by the Nigerian police… it’s a common thing especially in Lagos. So your arrest is usual foe the police
