2023: Former Aviation Minister Osita Chidoka Queries How Come No Igbo Person Has Shown Interest To Run For President Under PDP

With the recent high clamour for an Igbo President and the raging talks of the Igbo nation’s secession away from the configuration of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the former Minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka had slammed Igbo politicians noting the absence of any form of an Igbo politician making politicking attempts or pre-emptive campaign approach at the PDP’s national convention that was held in Abuja, yesterday, October 30th. 

The PDP’s National convention, which had in the early hours of Sunday, 31th of October had announced the emergence of Senator Iyorchia Ayu as the new National Chairman of the party. But what was of note for the former Minister, Osita Chidoka was the lack of any Igbo person, be it a woman or a man showing or even signifying their interest to run for the position of the President of the country yet they continue to clamour for power to come to their region.

According to Osita Chidoka, he saw the presidential posters of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, Sokoto state governor Aminu Tambuwal, and others brandished all over the convention ground but not one Igbo person with presidential aspiration shared even a leaflet during the event.
