EPL Matchday 29: City Welcomes Liverpool As Arsenal Face Leeds

The English Premier League returns after a two week international break that saw country sides slog it out for a place at the Euro 2024 tournament set to hold in Germany.

In an early Saturday kickoff, we have a cracker between champions, Manchester City hosting Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool at 12:30pm with the Cityzens looking to close the gap on table toppers, Arsenal, who lead with an eight point margin.

Liverpool will be looking to record a double over Pep Guardiola’s side and make it their thirteenth win of the season.

Manchester City will be without England international, Phil Foden who underwent a surgery to remove his appendix with Premier League goal machine, Erling Haaland looks a doubt for the clash of giants. Liverpool will travel to the Etihad without midfield general, Thiago Alcantara, Darwin Nunez, Luiz Diaz and Kostas Tsimikas.

Table Toppers, Arsenal will be in action when they welcome Leeds to the Emirates in a 15:00pm kickoff as the Gunners will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the table with Manchester City kicking off the afternoon.

Leeds will be going into the match in 14 place with 26 points and 3points off relegation zone Premier League table after their victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Gunners will be without Thomas Partey, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Kieran Tierney, Eddie Nketiah and Mohammed Elneny.

Leeds will be go into the game with Adam Forshaw, Wilfried Gnonto, Tyler Adams, Stuart Dallas.
