The Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MOPPAN), an umbrella body of northern filmmakers in the country, has suspended Kannywood actress, Rahama Sadau over a picture she posted on social media two days ago.

The actress came  under attack over the controversial outfit she was wearing in the photo but has since apologised for it and has taken down the photo. In a statement on Tuesday, MOPPAN said the post by Rahama Sadau has resulted to blasphemous comments against the Holy Prophet of Islam on Twitter and other social media handles so she has since been suspended for the action.
