Controversial Nigerian singer, Darlington Okoye, popularly known as Speed Darlington, has stated that he thinks he should be paid for being a celebrity.
The United States-based rapper made this statement during his appearance on the latest episode of media personality Nedu’s Honest Bunch podcast.

According to Speed Darlington, he thinks he deserves to be paid for his celebrity status.
When the hosts asked him why he believes he deserves payment, Darlington used the analogy of a meat pie to illustrate his point, emphasizing that people are willing to pay for what they love.

Nedu countered by stating that without the love and support of fans, Speed Darlington wouldn’t have achieved celebrity status.
However, Darlington dismissed this notion, questioning, “What generates that love? Why don’t people hug a madman on the street?
