End SARS, We Don’t Want Reform – Dino Melaye Supports Protests

The former lawmaker representing Kogi West Senatorial District Dino Melaye has also spoken out against the brutality of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
Speaking today in an Instagram live session with BBC News Pidgin, Dino Melaye noted that there is no need for reform but a total end.According to him, if the call is for reforms, the same set of people who are in the unit will still be the same ones operating which will do little or nothing to the concerns of the people.

He added that the orientation and understanding people have of the anti-robbery unit needs to be changed, likewise its name, hence, the need for the total cancellation.
