Emulate Davido, Don Jazzy Advises Nigerian Artists

Nigerian music producer, Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy has advised other Nigerian artists to emulate Davido’s format in promoting their musical projects.

KOKO TV reported that Davido has been on a media tour for his recently released fourth studio album ‘Timeless’ in the United States holding several shows in New York.

Don Jazzy has applauded Davido’s music promotion strategy for his latest album, he went on to advise other Nigerian musicians to invest in promoting their projects.

The Marvin boss said Davido didn’t sit back because he was already an established artist, instead he is promoting his album vigorously.

In a tweet on Monday, Don Jazzy wrote, “Dear artists, I hope you can see how Davido is marketing his album. He didn’t form oh I’m OBO so everybody will cop my shit. Marketing your beautiful project that you worked hard on does not reduce your swag.”

DAILY POST reported that Davido’s ‘Timeless’ has been breaking streaming records since its release including the highest charting album by an African artist on the US Apple Music (peaked at Number 2), first African album to reach Number 1 on US iTunes Albums Chart, and the biggest album first-day streams in history of Audiomack.
