President Buhari has revealed his stance on the herbal and traditional medicines being developed in Nigeria to combat the deadly COVID-19.
The President noted in a tweet via his official Twitter handle that all the medicines should be sent to the statutory authorities in the county for scientific verification before use or circulation.
According to him, the nation will not put anything to use except it has been verified and endorsed by the regulatory institutions.

“My position regarding all herbal or traditional medicines is that any such formulations should be sent to the statutory regulators for thorough scientific verification. We will not put anything to use in Nigeria without the endorsement of our regulatory institutions“, he tweeted.
