Nollywood Stars Set for NECLive 2026 Event
The Nigerian Entertainment Conference (NECLive) has announced its first lineup for the 2026 edition, featuring prominent figures from the film, music, and entertainment industries.
According to The Prime Nigeria, The 11th edition of NECLive will take place on November 12, 2026, at Alliance Française de Lagos, with comedian Tee A as the event’s host. The conference will focus on transforming local demand into global power through Nigeria’s creative industries.
The first lineup includes Nollywood actors, filmmakers, music executives, and entrepreneurs, with Genoveva Umeh, Editi Effiong, and Kayode Kasum among the confirmed participants. Umeh is known for her roles in Breath of Life and Blood Sisters, while Effiong’s film The Black Book reached Netflix’s global top three.
The conference will bring together professionals from various sectors of Nigeria’s entertainment industry, including music publishing, artist development, and talent management. Godwin Tom, founder of the Creative Business Academy, and Excel Joab, senior manager at AWAL, are among the confirmed participants.
The event aims to explore how Nigeria’s creative industries can leverage local audiences to create sustainable business opportunities both domestically and internationally. The discussions will cover business, music publishing, and talent management, which are crucial for building long-term careers for Nigerian artists.
