90 Year Old Briton Becomes The First To Receive Pfizer Covid-19 Vaccine

The great Britain has started administration of the biggest vaccination produced by Pfizer-BioNTech in the country’s history, and the first person to receive the Covid-19 vaccine is a 90 year old grandmother named Magaret Keenan. This happened in the UK, at University Hospital, Coventry.

Recall that Britain became the first country to approve the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, raising hopes for a major turn in the health sector for this pandemic that has ruled the year and killed more than 1.5 million worldwide.

Britain has been one of the worst-affected countries in the world, with more than 61,000 deaths in the outbreak from 1.6 million cases.

However, the UK has ordered 40 million doses of the jab which is enough to vaccinate 20 million people with 800,000 in the first batch. And up to four million doses are expected by the end of December.
