8 Foreign Players Cleared By FIFA To Play For Nigeria

The World Football governing body, FIFA, has cleared eight new Nigerian players with dual nationalities or who might at some point early in their careers played for other countries, they’ve now been cleared to represent the Super Eagles.

The players who have played for junior teams in England and Germany are now eligible to represent the Super Eagles after indicating to FIFA with assistance from the NFF that they were ready to play for Nigeria if called upon.

Top most on the list is Fulham’s forward Ademola Lookman, the list also included:

-Ademola Lookman – Fulham {Eng}

– Jordan Torunarigha –  Hertha BSC in {Ger}

– Nathan Tella – Southampton FC {Eng}

– Tosin Adarabioyo – Fulham FC {Eng}

– Ovie Ejaria – Reading FC {Eng}

– Noni Madueke – PSV

– Sheyi Ojo – Cardiff City

– Ike Ugbo – Cercle Brugge

Ademola Lookman who had previously featured for the English national teams and captained them across the age-grade levels has now decided to represent the Super Eagles at the National level after first turning down the proposal to play for his parents country but chose is country of birth England at the time of Nigeria.
