The eight members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) who were kidnapped in Kaduna State last month have been released. The general overseer of the church Pastor E.A Adeboye shared the good news on his official Twitter handle.
The general overseer shared that they were released today the 8th of April and have been taken to the hospital for a checkup and test.

Today I got the exciting news that our brethren who were in captivity of kidnappers have all been released and taken to the Hospital for checkup and tests.

On March 27, 2020 Gunmen suspected to be bandits launched an attack in Kaduna State, kidnapping no fewer than eight members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). The gunmen were said to have kidnapped the church members on Friday evening while on transit along Kachia Road in the Southern part of the State.
