50 Cent has been giving the go-ahead to co-produce his much talked about upcoming drama series, ‘Black Mafia Family’ along with Lionsgate. 
This was confirmed in a press release by HipHop DX, Starz CEO Jeffrey Hirsch, according to Jeffrey they were really passionate to be partnering with 50 Cent on the new project especially as it’s a story that has “all the hallmarks of being a great drama.”
The upcoming drama series is plot around a drug trafficking gang founded in Detriot around the 1980s. The gang was led by Big Meech, real name Demetrius Flenory, he was in control of the gang until the early 2000s. 50 Cent confirmed that Big Meech had endorsed the production of the B.M.F. drama series from jail in 2016.
