American rapper, 50 Cent has revealed that US President Donald Trump contacted him during the presidential campaign. 50 Cent in an interview with Hot 97 radio station claims that he rejected an offer of $500,000 from Donald Trump’s team to appear at a campaign event during the 2016 presidential election.
He said ‘before he got elected, they were having issues with the African American vote. They wanted to pay me $500,000 as part of the campaign to just make an appearance’. He added that his response was ‘like, ‘Nah, that’s not good money. Nah, I’m not going to do that. That’s not worth it. His presidency is an accident. If you were a president by accident, you might do some of the things Donald Trump is doing’.
