5 Times Femi Fani Kayode Criticised President Muhammadu Buhari

David Oluwafemi Adewunmi Abdulateef Fani-Kayode is a Nigerian politician, essayist, poet, and lawyer, who was born into one of the most prominent families in the South Western region of the country. His father Victor Babaremilekun Adetokunboh Fani-Kayode also attended Cambridge just like his Grandfather and his Great-grandfather was a prominent lawyer and political figure in Nigeria in the 1950s and 1960s.

He was the leader of the National Council of Nigeria and the Cameroons Opposition in the Western House of Assembly from 1960 to 1963, the Hon. Minister of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and Deputy Premier of the Western Region of Nigeria from 1963 until 1966 and he successfully moved the motion for Nigeria’s independence in 1958 in the Nigerian Parliament.

Femi Fani-KayodeFemi Fani-Kayode was a member of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He was with the opposition’s All Progressive Congress (APC) until June 2014 when he returned to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, now he has rejoined the All progressive congress (APC).
Although his family lineage originates from Osun, he was born in Lagos, on 16 October 1960. During the past six years the former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has posted several tweets on numerous occasions criticizing, insulting, barraging President Muhammadu Buhari and his administration and several of the administration’s policies.

Taking opportunity at every turn to drag the APC and President Buhari through the mud, which is why his return to the APC has come as a major surprise, it almost a synonymous situation of a dog returning to its vomit only to gulp it down with so much savory.  With a quick look through the archive we’ve decided to uproot some unique Femi Fani-Kayode had 5 criticized President Muhammadu Buhari; 

1. Femi Fani Kayode Praised Pastors Criticizing President Buhari

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode praised the men of God criticizing President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, but he however asked them to thread with caution as their lives may be at risk. In his tweet, he stated “I am proud of the Pentecostals. They are standing up to the evil in the land like never before, even at risk to their lives and liberty.

2. He is cruel, Un-empathetic, And A Sociopath

Over a particular event, he stated “he is not warm, he is cold, he is not kind, he is cruel, he is not empathetic, he is a sociopath that he was referring to President Buhari. Responding to the Deeper Life Senior Pastor and founder Rev Kumuyi’s call for Christians not to criticize the president, FFK said hundreds of people are being slaughtered every day on grounds of genocide, ethnic cleansing, and mass murder on our shores and someone is telling us not to attack the person responsible for it.

Reacting to President Muhammadu Buhari’s speech during the EndSAR protest FFK said the President’s speech was an insult to the Nigerian people, “a disgrace to humanity and a stench in the nostrils of God, he is not a president, he is a dictator, he is not a man, he is a monster”.

Femi Fani-Kayode took a swipe at the Federal Government of Nigeria and the Nigerian Army after the US had to send its forces to Nigeria to come to rescue an American citizen in the North. The politician reacted making a mockery of Buhari’s government. According to him, the government of the day was only good at killing its own citizens, alluding to the shooting of unarmed #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki area of Lagos State.

5. President Buhari will end up like Biblical Herod, Pharoah, and Sennacherib

 The activist slams the president for declaring he will jail more looters. FFK said Buhari will end up like biblical Herod, Pharoah, and Sennacherib because he allegedly carried out more looting and corrupt practices than any other leader. Continuing FFK said ”you are nothing but a promiscuous liar, a loud-mouthed hypocrite, and a schoolyard bully. No one has looted as much money, inflicted as much pain, and as shed as much innocent blood as you”.
