In 2018, Davido made headlines across media outlets after he shared a video on his Instagram account, that captured the moment some staff members at Muritala Mohammed airport raised placards and thanked him for his help. What actually happened was, a staff of the airport was terminally ill, but Davido helped save her life by donating a sum of 15 million Naira to foot her medical bills.
