Reno Omokri has weighed into the 4m naira allegation laid against Vice President Osinbajo by a blogger Jackson Ude, asking the VP to go to court and not to the Police.
Recall that Osinbajo denied taking the money from Ibrahim Magu and had asked the IGP Mohammad Adamu to investigate the allegations laid against him.
Reacting, Reno Omokri noted that the best place to take the case to is the court and not to the Police, if truly he was accused falsefully. Reno then merged the VP’s name with Nigerian big boy and fraudster Hushpuppi’s, saying it is an abuse of office for him to ask the IGP to investigate the blogger. “It is abuse of office for so called pastor @ProfOsinbajo to ask the IGP of @PoliceNG to investigate @JacksonPBN. If VP Osinbajo is sure Magu didn’t pay him ₦4 billion, as alleged, then he should sue him for slander, rather than use the police to intimidate him. Pastor Yemi Hushibanjo should sue @JacksonPBN to court for slander. That is the behaviour of an innocent man. Why petition @PoliceNG? Did the suspended Chairman of @OfficialEFCC, Magu, pay you ₦4 billion? If it is truly a lie, then head to court, not to police!“, Reno wrote.
