A 35-year-old man has been arrested by the Delta State Police Command in Asaba for allegedly raping two sisters and getting one impregnated in the process.

The suspect’s name was given as Jude Nduka who resided at Obi Onuwe Street behind Kowen Plaza, Asaba.
In the police release, it was alleged that Nduka raped the two sisters, aged 16 and 13 years respectively.
The statement signed by the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Edafe Bright, revealed that while the suspect succeeded in impregnating one of the sisters, he defiled the other who is aged 13 years old.

It said, “A complainant, a woman, reported that the suspect allegedly raped and impregnated her daughter (name withheld) aged 16 years old and also raped and defiled her teenage daughter name (withheld) who is aged 13 years old.
“And the police detectives commenced investigation and the suspect was arrested. Upon interrogation the suspect confessed to have committed the crimes.”
Edafe disclosed that medical examination on the said victims had been carried out and the suspect was currently in custody.
The police noted that he would be charged to court on completion of investigation.
