34-Year-Old Nigerian Man Enters Governorship Race In U.S

A young Nigerian-born American based citizen of 34-year-old Austin Chenge has announced his entry for the governorship seat of the state of Michigan in the United States of America.   Nigerian Austin Chenge Enters Governorship Election In U.S

Austin Chenge is a native of Benue State in Nigeria, he is set to challenge US house of Rep member Lamar Smith for the Republican Party ticket for the state of Michigan.

Abdul-Rahman Balogun, the Head Of Media and Public Relations unit of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), he noted the Benue indigene announced his intention to run for the governorship position since March 2020, making him the front-runner and first to do so under Republican party.

The politician is said to be popular locally for designing the tricycle known as “Wazobia tricycle” in 2016, created to improve the lives of peasant farmers all over Africa.

The statement added;

“Chenge is a Law graduate from the University of Birmingham, England. Since the year 2018, he has been serving with the US military as a specialist.
“He is decorated with the Achievement Medal as a Distinguished Honour Graduate with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 99.8% and for exceptional performance while on active duty.”
