The National Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) yesterday announced that 304 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria on Tuesday, August 4.
In the latest coronavirus update the FCT recorded 90 new cases, Lagos-59 cases. states, Ondo – 39, Taraba – 18, Rivers – 17, Borno – 15, Adamawa – 12, Oyo – 11, Delta – 9, Edo – 6, Bauchi, Kwara, Ogun and Osun each having 4 cases, Bayelsa, Plateau and Niger-3 , Nasarawa – 2 and Kano – 1.
Nigeria now has 44,433 confirmed cases of the viral disease. 31,851 patients have so far been discharged with 910 fatalities recorded.
