Hip-hop star Safaree has shared his thoughts on the immense pressure social media is placing a lot of young people under over the last few years. The rapper in a post shared on social media explained that people in their twenties are feeling suicidal, like failures because they aren’t earning 6 figures and driving luxury cars.
The rapper mentioned that people are beginning to see a 9-5 job as slavery and women are thinking a person who can’t afford a Chanel bag isn’t doing well in life. He said that most things on social media are not real, yet people are hating themselves and what they have because of what they see others flaunt on social media.
