Manchester United fans were furious after Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard were spotted having a heated exchange in a clip posted on the club’s official Twitter account.
The pair appeared to clash as the team took a stroll after landing in Perth with defender Victor Lindelof needing to separate the pair. The fact the clip was made public has infuriated fans – whilst some are demanding both players are sold as they predict a long season ahead under new boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The incident comes with Pogba believed to be desperate to leave Old Trafford for a fresh challenge with Real Madrid or Juventus but having been forced to join the pre-season trip to Australia after talks with Solskjaer.
