Former Imo State Governor, Senator Rochas Okorocha joins the Presidential race for 2023 as he declares his ambition to run for the highest political office in the country on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC). 
Okorocha disclosed his ambition in a letter to the Senate President which was read by the Senate President. The letter was read by SP Ahmad Lawan at the Senate plenary earlier today, January 26th 2022.

Sen. Okorocha then went on to disclose that he will address a world press conference on Monday 31st January 2022 to officially declare his ambition to contest the presidency.
