2023: APC Grants Waivers To Umahi, Dogara, Elisha Abbo And Others

The National Executive Committee {NEC} of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC has announced on Tuesday that it has approved waivers for all those who just joined or maybe intend to join the party which gives them the allowance to seek a political position on the party’s platform ahead of the 2023 elections.  APC

This means that the waivers will enable all newly joined persons to contest for an elective post on the APC’s platform without having to wait for a particular duration before they can contest.

He said, “The second resolution is that NEC has approved the granting of waivers to persons who have recently joined the party members and those desirous of joining the party in the nearest future.
“By this, such new members will enjoy all the benefits and privileges accruable by virtue of their membership of the party.
“So, they will be able to contest for positions in the party. They will be able to contest elections without any requirement of being members for a number of years or period of time.”
